The Wiped Film Distillation Master Class
Wiped film distillation is an incredibly powerful method of purification. Many purifications are not possible with any other distillation technology. In addition, wiped film stills are incredibly efficient, allowing for large throughput on relatively small machines.
However, wiped film distillation is not taught in colleges. The equipment is too niche to be part of education programs. For this reason, there is a large range of proficiency among wiped film still users. Some users are very skilled, while others have not received enough instruction to be skilled. The biggest problem is there is no resource for wiped film still operators. This class fixes that problem.
The last 6.5 years, I ran Pope Scientific’s wiped film distillation plant. I was trained by the very best in the business and got to process material from every industry imaginable. I have amassed a wealth of wiped film distillation knowledge, and this class shares that knowledge.
What to expect from the class: A full understanding of how to run a wiped film still and how to use the still to obtain the desired product.
The class is available in two formats. It will be taught periodically as a live webinar and also available as a video series. The video series will be accessible for one year. Participants who attend the live webinar will also receive access to the video series for one year. In addition, I offer a phone call after completion of the course to go over any questions you may have. I also am providing simple start-up/shut down instructions and process run sheet example.
If you desire to purchase, please head over to my store and purchase there. Alternatively, you can reach out at bschilling@schillingscientificconsulting.com, and I can provide wire information if that is easier.
Below I have shared my series of LinkedIn posts that promo each of the 7 sessions of the course.
